200 Cool Experiences. 48 Hours. For free.

Have you ever walked by a breathtaking building in Chicago and thought, "I wish I could see what's inside?"  This weekend you can: October 15-16, 2016.  Courtesy of the Chicago Architecture Foundation’s Open House Chicago – a FREE public festival that offers behind-the-scenes access to more than 200 buildings across Chicago.

And, I’m volunteering!  Stop by the McCormick Bridgehouse & Chicago River Museum on Saturday from 1:00 – 5:00 pm to say, Hi!, and check out five-story, 1,400-square-foot bridgehouse that’s part of the revolutionary 1920 double-decker Michigan Avenue (now DuSable) bridge.

Learn more about all 200 locations at openhousechicago.org.

Want PRIORITY ACCESS? Open House Chicago is free, but if you become a CAF member you can get priority access and move to the front of the line.  Find out more on how to join here. Then, just show your confirmation receipt/email and ID when you arrive at any location.
